Extreme weather events and unexpected operational disruptions are affecting sorting, transportation, and delivery operations in several areas across the United States. As a result, packages traveling to or within affected regions may experience delays.

The current service disruptions include:

  1. Tropical Storm Activity – U.S. Gulf Coast Region
Tropical storm activity in the U.S. Gulf Coast region is impacting delivery operations, resulting in delays for packages destined for Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas.

Flooding is currently affecting parts of North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Package sorting, transportation, and delivery operations across these states may be impacted, resulting in delays for shipments traveling to or within affected areas.

  3. Wildfires – U.S. Pacific Northwest Region
