Connect Zendrop MCP to your AI assistant

Zendrop MCP lets ChatGPT, Claude, or another AI assistant work directly with your store, find products, check orders, and fulfill them, all from a chat. This guide covers Zendrop MCP setup for all three.

What is Zendrop MCP? It's a secure connection between your AI assistant and your Zendrop store. Once you connect Zendrop MCP and approve access, you can just ask and your assistant does the work inside Zendrop for you.

Just ask — Zendrop does the rest.

What you can do with Zendrop MCP?

  • Show me my imported products.

  • Find trending products under $15.

  • What orders are unfulfilled right now?

  • How much revenue did I make last month?

  • Estimate shipping for this product to the US.

  • Fulfill order #1032 for me.

Is Zendrop MCP safe?

  • You approve access. Nothing connects until you sign in to Zendrop and approve it yourself.

  • It asks before shipping. Fulfillment always pauses for your confirmation.

  • Revoke anytime. Disconnect from your assistant or Zendrop settings whenever you want.

Setup is different for each assistant. Go to the section for the one you use, you can skip the others.

Setting Up ChatGPT with Zendrop MCP

Before you start: Make sure you're signed in to ChatGPT and can access the Apps section in Settings. Also sign into your Zendrop account in the same browser first, that way the authorization window recognizes you automatically and you won't need to re-enter your Zendrop credentials.

Step 1 — Open Apps. In ChatGPT, open Apps from the left sidebar, or go to your profile → Settings → Apps.

Step 2 — Search for Zendrop. In the search box, type Zendrop to find the Zendrop MCP.

Step 3 — Connect. Click the Zendrop MCP, then click Connect. ChatGPT sends you to Zendrop to authorize.

Step 4 — Sign In To Zendrop. In the window click Sign in with Zendrop. It will take you to authorization window.


​Step 5 — Authorize. In the Zendrop window, review what you're granting and click Authorize. That's it,you're connected!

Setting Up Claude with Zendrop MCP

Before you start: You'll need a Claude account that can add custom connectors. Also sign into your Zendrop account in the same browser first, that way the authorization window recognizes you automatically and you won't need to re-enter your Zendrop credentials.

Step 1 — Open Connectors. In Claude, go to Customize → Connectors.


​Step 2 — Add Zendrop. Click on the + icon and select Add custom connector.

​Step 3 — Adding Zendrop MCP: In the name of the MCP add the name and url as follow:

  1. MCP Name: Zendrop MCP

  2. MCP URL: https://app.zendrop.com/mcp/v1

Click Add

Watch the URL. The MCP URL must be exactly https://app.zendrop.com/mcp/v1 — no trailing period, slash, or extra character at the end. A stray period (e.g. https://app.zendrop.com/mcp/v1.) causes a 502 error at the Authorize step.


​Step 4 — Connecting MCP: Click on the connect button it will take you to Zendrop MCP Authorization.


​Step 5 — Authorization: Select the relevant options and click Authorize. That's it, you're connected!

Setting Up OpenClaw with Zendrop MCP

Advanced: needs Node.js 14+, npm, OpenClaw set up, and admin access to Zendrop.

Step 1 — Install the connector tool (mcporter):
Use the following command npm install -g mcporter

Step 2 — Add Zendrop:
Add Zendrop mcp using the following command
​mcporter config add zendrop --url https://app.zendrop.com/mcp/v1
​

Step 3 — Authorize Zendrop: Use the following command to start authorization process in browser.
​mcporter auth zendrop

Step 4 — Authenticate (opens a browser to approve):

Test your Zendrop MCP connection

Whichever assistant you set up, ask: "Show me my trending products." If it returns products from your catalog, your Zendrop MCP connection is working. 🎉

If something's off

ChatGPT: I can't find Zendrop in Apps search

Make sure you're on a ChatGPT plan/version that supports Apps, and search the exact term "Zendrop." If it still doesn't appear, the listing may not be available in your region yet.

The sign-in / authorize window won't open.

Usually a pop-up blocker — allow pop-ups for the authorize step and try again. (Applies to all three.)

Connected, but nothing happens.

Make sure the Zendrop connector is enabled for your current chat. (OpenClaw: re-run mcporter auth zendrop.)

OpenClaw: command not found after install.

Ensure the global npm bin directory is on your PATH, then reopen your terminal.

Got a 502 Bad Gateway error when you click Authorize.

This error comes from Zendrop's authorization server — it's not a browser or network issue, so clearing your cache or switching browsers won't fix it.

Check your MCP URL first (Claude only). A trailing period is the most common cause. The URL must be exactly:

https://app.zendrop.com/mcp/v1

No dot, slash, or space at the end. Remove it, click Add again, and retry Connect.

Still seeing 502? The authorization server may be temporarily down. Wait a few minutes and try again. If it persists after 15 minutes, reach out to Zendrop support so the team can check the server status.

Disconnecting Zendrop MCP

  1. ChatGPT: Remove the Zendrop connector in your assistant (ChatGPT: Settings → Apps.

  2. Claude: Settings → Connectors

  3. OpenClaw: mcporter config remove zendrop), then revoke access in your Zendrop account's integrations.
