Zendrop offers several ways to access and enhance product images for your online store. You can request more images, use the Zendrop catalog, or create your own branded content through sample orders. Below, we’ll guide you through your options and share important notes to keep in mind.
Important Note on Image Copyright
Because Zendrop does not hold inventory in its warehouse, many product images are imported by users from other platforms. This means Zendrop cannot guarantee copyright ownership of all product images.
To reduce any risk of copyright infringement, we recommend creating your own original photos through sample orders.
Requesting Additional Product Images
If you need more images than what’s already available:
Share the Product Link – Provide Zendrop support with the product link and specify the type of images or media you’re looking for. Here’s where to find the product link on Zendrop.
Supplier Request – Zendrop will contact the supplier to request additional images. This usually takes 24–48 hours but depends on supplier availability.
Updates – Zendrop will notify you if new images are available, or if the supplier cannot provide more.
Note: Some suppliers may not be able to share extra photos.
Using the Zendrop Catalog
Most images in the Zendrop catalog come directly from suppliers (often via platforms like AliExpress). To access them:
Open the product in the Zendrop catalog.
Scroll to the Variants Section and select your preferred variation.
Right-click the image and choose “Save Image As” to download it.
These images will also sync to your Shopify store when you publish the product. From there, you can edit or replace them in your Shopify admin.
Creating Custom Images Through Sample Orders
The most reliable way to get unique, high-quality, and brand-specific images is to order a product sample. This allows you to:
Verify the product’s quality.
Take your own custom photos and videos that match your branding.
Use content that you fully own.
How to Place a Sample Order:
Go to the product listing in Zendrop.
Click the Sample Order button (top-right corner).
Complete the order as instructed.
When Images Are Limited
Sometimes, suppliers may only have a small selection of photos, or available ones may appear blurry. In these cases:
Placing a sample order is the best solution.
Alternatively, consider hiring a freelance photographer (e.g., on Fiverr) to create professional product photos using your sample.
Suggestions for Best Results
Use Sample Orders: This is the safest way to guarantee unique, copyright-safe content.
Brand Your Images: Add your logo, text, or design elements to make supplier photos your own.
Check Before Publishing: Always review images for clarity, consistency, and brand alignment before adding them to your store.
Zendrop helps you access and request product images, but because suppliers provide most of them, there may be limitations. To stay safe and fully control your branding, placing a sample order and creating your own content is highly recommended.
