Here's how to manually add products to your Zendrop supplier catalog.
We offer two convenient options for importing products into your Zendrop catalog:
Manual Addition
Automatic Import from Shopify
This guide covers the manual addition option.
Navigate to the Products tab
Click on the "Products" tab at the top of the page.
Select the "Add Products" option.
Set product visibility
By default, your new product will be hidden from our entrepreneurs.
To make it visible, click the drop-down arrow next to "Visible to all users".
Selecting ‘Yes’: This makes your listing available to all Zendrop sellers.
Selecting ‘No’: Keeps your listing hidden, visible only to those with the private URL.
Add the product name
Follow these tips to create an effective, appealing, and searchable product name:
Include Essential Details: E.g., "Men's Black Leather Jacket with Zipper Pockets" instead of "Men's Jacket".
Think Like a Customer: Use relevant keywords to help with SEO. E.g., "Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds with Noise Cancellation".
Balance Detail and Brevity: E.g., "4K Ultra HD Smart TV" instead of "Super High Definition Ultra High-Quality Smart Television with 4K Resolution".
Highlight Key Features: E.g., "Waterproof Hiking Boots with Thermal Insulation".
Include Numerical Specifications: E.g., "16GB USB Flash Drive".
Skip Unnecessary Words: E.g., "Organic Cotton Bed Sheets" instead of "Very Soft and Comfortable Organic Cotton Bed Sheets".
Consistent Naming Convention: Start with the brand name followed by the product type and key feature.
Ensure Accuracy: Ensure your descriptions are accurate to maintain trust with customers.
Create an effective product description
Know Your Customers: Tailor your language, tone, and information to their needs.
Capture Attention: Start with a compelling opening sentence highlighting the main benefit or unique selling point.
Organize Content: Use headings, bullet points, and short paragraphs for readability.
List Key Features and Benefits: Focus on how the product solves a problem or improves the customer's life.
Provide Specifications: Include size, weight, materials, colors, and compatibility to build trust.
Tell a Story: If applicable, share the product’s origins or inspiration.
Use Relevant Keywords: Naturally, improve search engine ranking.
Ensure Accuracy: Free from grammatical errors and typos.
Select a category
Click on the drop-down arrow next to the category option to choose the appropriate category.
Use high-quality images and videos
Complement your description with visuals that showcase the product from different angles and in use.
Add variant details
Image
SKU: Automatically prefilled by the platform.
Color: E.g., red, yellow.
Inventory: Units of the item in stock (e.g., 150).
MAP (Minimum Advertised Price): Optional. See MAP pricing for details.
Product Cost: The wholesale price advertised to Zendrop sellers.
Shipping Cost: Add a flat rate shipping cost per variant.
If the product has multiple variants, click "Add Variant" to include them all.
Finalize the addition
Once done, click the "Add Product" button at the end of the page.
You will receive a pop-up notification stating that the product was created successfully, along with your private product URL.
Once your product is live, place a test order to confirm it displays and fulfills correctly.
