How to Obtain Additional Product Details From the Zendrop Catalog

What's on every Zendrop listing page, what you can request from our team, and what isn't available, including GTINs, MPNs, HS codes, certifications, and more.

Not every detail you need for your store is visible on a Zendrop product listing page. Some details are available on request. Others aren't available at all. Here's exactly what falls into each category and how to get what you need.

What's already on every listing page

Before submitting any requests, check the product listing page first. Most of what you need is already there:

  • Product title, images, description, and supplier name

  • Product cost, shipping cost, and suggested retail price

  • Processing time, delivery time, and ships-from location

  • Variants tab: sizes, colors, SKU per variant, cost per variant, and inventory levels

  • Dimensions, weight, materials, and basic usage instructions (within the product description)

If a detail from this list is missing on a specific listing, share the product URL with our team via the in-app messenger. Gaps like missing dimensions or materials can usually be filled within 24–48 hours.

Details available on request

The following details aren't always visible on the listing page but can be requested from our team. For all requests, share the Zendrop product URL (it looks like https://app.zendrop.com/product/1234) and specify exactly what you need. Our team is available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET, and will follow up within up to 2 working days unless noted otherwise.

Size charts and sizing guides

If a sizing chart isn't visible on the listing page, contact our team via the in-app messenger with the product URL. We'll check with the supplier and follow up within 24 hours.

Additional product images

If you need images beyond what's shown on the listing (lifestyle shots, back-of-product views, or detail close-ups), share the product URL and describe what you're looking for. Availability depends on the supplier.

Ingredient lists and material composition

Basic material details (fabric type, plastic grade, metal composition) are usually in the product description. For more detailed ingredient breakdowns (especially for cosmetics, food-adjacent products, or specialty materials), our team can request them from the supplier. Availability depends on how much the supplier discloses. Some manufacturers treat formulas as proprietary and won't share full ingredient lists.

Packaging details

If you need to confirm exact packaging for a specific product (dimensions, labeling, or inserts), contact our team with the product URL and your specific question. We'll check with the supplier.

New variants (colors, sizes, styles)

If a variant you need (a specific color, size, or style) isn't listed on the product page, contact our team with the product URL and the exact variant you're looking for. We'll check availability with the supplier within 2 working days.

Supplier and origin verification

Zendrop doesn't display original supplier links directly. If you want to verify whether a Zendrop product matches one you've found elsewhere (for example, on AliExpress or Alibaba), share both links with our team. Note that sourced products may be similar but not always identical to external listings due to supplier availability and inventory changes.

HS codes are available for most products

Harmonized System (HS) codes classify goods for customs clearance and international shipping. Zendrop can provide HS codes for most products sourced from China. Zendrop assigns HS codes per product link, not per individual variant.

Limit: five products per request. This is due to the time needed to coordinate with factories in China. Plan your requests in batches of up to five.

How to request an HS code

  1. Find the product in your Zendrop dashboard and copy the product URL (it looks like https://app.zendrop.com/product/XXXXX).

  2. Contact Zendrop support via the in-app messenger and share the product URL along with the product name.

  3. Our team will confirm whether an HS code is available and share it with you.

Note: HS codes aren't available for products sourced exclusively from US suppliers, as those fall outside international shipping requirements.

CE certifications and other compliance documents

CE certification confirms compliance with European safety, health, and environmental standards. It's not commonly available for Zendrop products, as most factories in China don't prioritize CE marking for non-European markets.

  • Occasionally, a CE certificate exists for a specific product. Availability depends entirely on the factory.

  • For products where it's essential, Zendrop can contact the supplier on your behalf. In some cases, obtaining a CE Declaration of Conformity (DoC) or test reports requires ordering product samples first.

  • Other certifications such as FCC, RoHS, and FDA may also be available in limited cases, depending on the supplier and their adherence to regional regulations.

To check whether a compliance document is available for a specific product, contact Zendrop support via the in-app messenger with the product URL and the certification type you need.

MPN and GTIN numbers are not available

Note:
Zendrop can't provide MPN (Manufacturer Part Numbers) or GTIN (Global Trade Item Numbers) for any products in the catalog. This is beyond our control and there's no per-product workaround.

Shipping regulations from China restrict barcodes from being applied to the exterior of packages. Because of this, these identifiers don't exist for catalog products sourced from China. Our team can't obtain them on your behalf.

If your workflow requires GTINs or MPNs, you may be able to cross-reference products using external tools such as the UPC Database, Amazon Seller Central, or GS1's Global Search, though results will vary by product.

ASIN numbers

For products sourced from Amazon suppliers, an ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) may be available. ASINs are Amazon's unique product identifiers and serve a different purpose from GTINs or MPNs. They won't work as direct substitutes in all systems, but can help you cross-reference product details.

When a detail isn't available

Zendrop works with a large global network of suppliers. Some focus primarily on sourcing and fulfillment rather than direct manufacturing, which means extended documentation (chemical compositions, full ingredient breakdowns, or detailed compliance certificates) sometimes can't be provided. When that happens, our team will let you know and can help you explore alternative products if specific details are a hard requirement for your listings.

Head to Find Products in your Zendrop dashboard to browse the catalog and copy product URLs before submitting any detail requests.
