In this article, we’ll learn how to create bundles for products as variants and process them using Zendrop.
Zendrop supports creating bundles as individual products. What this means is that the bundle will be a separate listing in your store from the parent products. There might be use cases where we would want to show bundles as variants of a listing or on the same page as the product. This solution will help you resolve that challenge.
The solution works on the following approach:
A bundle order is placed in Shopify.
The bundle is unfolded in the Shopify order to show the individual products.
Order as individual products is passed on to Zendrop where it can be fulfilled.
For the solution, we can use any third-party Shopify app which allows us to achieve the above. We are using an example app to demonstrate the same.
Head over to the Shopify App Store and search for the app named “Unlimited Bundles & Discounts”
Install the app to your store and go through the onboarding process.
Based on the type of bundle you wish to create, use the steps below.
Multiple Units of the same product in the listing:
Let’s say you have a product for which you want to showcase multiple quantities of the product as variants in your listing. For the sake of example, we are selling a cushion to the customers.
We want the customers to buy more products by offering discounts when they buy multiple products. For this, we would want to show the multiples of the products as variants for the ease of the customers to buy the product with minimal steps.
You can use the above app on your Shopify along with Zendrop to implement the same workflow. For that please use the steps below:
In Zendrop find the product you wish to sell as multiple-quantity bundles from the My Products section.
Select the Product and click Add to Import List.
Head over the My Products > Import List > Review and Publish.
This will add the product to your store. The product is linked between Zendrop and your Shopify store and is now ready to be used for bundle creation.
Head over to Apps > Unlimited Bundles and Discounts.
Go through the onboarding steps for the app and complete it.
Once done you’ll be redirected to the bundle creation screen. Make sure that the bundle is not active.
Name your bundle and set a priority.
Select the Quantity/Volume bundle. This will redirect you to the following screen.
Please click on Add Products and select the product you wish to create a bundle. For the multiple quantity bundling option, select only one product and click Add.
The product is now ready for bundling. Select the discount type (percentage or fixed) and the quantity. Add more options by clicking on Add Quantity
Click Save.
Your bundle is created and will show on the product page. You can customize it further using the other options available.
With this bundle, you will be able to place an order and have it fulfill the order without requiring the bundle creation on Zendrop.
Different products bundled together in a listing:
Let’s say you have products that you wish to sell together as bundles with different quantity and variant combination options. For the sake of example, we are selling a cushion and a lamp to the customers.
We want the customers to buy them together products by offering discounts when they select bundle products. We can achieve that using these steps.
You can use the above app on your Shopify along with Zendrop to implement the same workflow. For that please use the steps below:
In Zendrop find the product you wish to sell as multiple-quantity bundles from the My Products section.
Select the Product and click Add to Import List.
Head over the My Products > Import List > Review and Publish
This will add the product to your store. The product is linked between Zendrop and your Shopify store and is now ready to be used for bundle creation.

Name your bundle and set a priority. Select the Standard Bundle.
Select the products you wish to add to the bundle.
Test and customize the bundle.
Important Note:
