Explaining the Order Metrics

Order metrics overview.

Updated yesterday

Your Orders page provides an overview of your store’s fulfillment activity. Each metric helps you track every stage of your customers’ orders from syncing to delivery so you can stay in control and deliver a seamless experience.

Below is a detailed breakdown of what each metric means and how it helps you manage your business efficiently.

1. Total Orders

This number represents all orders synced to Zendrop, including:

  • Orders placed through your connected store, and

  • Orders fulfilled directly through Zendrop.

It gives you a complete view of your sales volume and order flow.

2. Unfulfilled Orders

These are orders that are awaiting payment or require user action before fulfillment can begin.

There are two key sub-statuses under this category:

  • To Fulfill: Orders that are still in an unpaid status and haven’t yet entered the fulfillment process.

  • Unresolved: These orders are currently facing issues with either the link or source and need to be addressed. Click here for more on order sub-statuses.

Note: Addressing Unresolved orders promptly helps prevent fulfillment delays.

3. Processing Orders

These are orders that have been fulfilled but are still awaiting shipment meaning tracking numbers have not yet been assigned.
During this stage, the supplier is preparing, packing, or handing the order off to the shipping carrier.

  • Average Processing Time
Shows the time between when the order was fulfilled and when the tracking number was assigned, helping you monitor supplier speed and fulfillment efficiency.

4. In Transit Orders

These are orders that have shipped but haven’t yet been received by your customers.
They may include several sub-statuses that provide more details about shipping progress:

  • Expired: The package has been in transit for an extended period without delivery.

  • Alert: Your package might be delayed, returned, or held due to issues such as:

    • Incorrect or incomplete address

    • Refusal or unclaimed parcel

    • Customs detention

    • Possible loss or damage in transit

  • Undelivered: The delivery attempt was unsuccessful (for example, the recipient was unavailable or the delivery was rescheduled).
Check the tracking details for the latest update.

5. Delivered Orders

These are orders successfully received by your customers.

  • Average Delivery Time
Displays the time taken from shipment to successful delivery, giving you insight into shipping performance and customer experience.

You can click on any number or status label (like Processing, In Transit, or Delivered) to instantly filter your Orders view making it easier to focus on specific groups of orders.
