Shopify provides multiple payment methods for you to collect payments from your customers. However, it’s important to understand how these options work with Zendrop.
Does Zendrop Support COD?
Zendrop does not support Cash on Delivery (COD).
Why COD Isn’t Supported
As the seller, you are responsible for paying the fulfillment cost (wholesale price + shipping) to Zendrop. This payment must be made before we ship the order. Since COD involves collecting payment from the customer after delivery, it isn’t compatible with Zendrop’s fulfillment process. Orders will not be processed or shipped until the fulfillment cost is fully paid.
How payments work with Zendrop
Your customer places an order on your store.
They pay you directly through the payment methods you’ve enabled on Shopify (e.g., Shopify Payments or any other gateway you’ve set up).You pay Zendrop separately
To fulfill the order, you pay Zendrop using the payment method linked to your Zendrop billing page.
Because COD isn’t supported, we strongly recommend disabling COD for any products you plan to fulfill through Zendrop. Make sure you enable at least one supported payment gateway on your Shopify store without it, customers won’t be able to complete their purchases. Choosing the right payment methods ensures smooth transactions and prevents fulfillment delays.
Payment methods available in Zendrop
1. Debit or Credit Card
You can add your debit or credit card directly on your Zendrop billing page. You also have the option to link your bank account for seamless payments. To learn more about updating your payment method, here is a comprehensive article for your reference.
2. Topped-Up Order Credits
You can add credits using your debit or credit card, as well as PayPal. These credits can then be used to pay for your orders. To learn more about order credits, click here.
3. Promotional Order Credits
