Your store collects payments from customers. Zendrop bills you separately for fulfillment. Understanding how these two systems work together is key to setting up the right payment options.
Does Zendrop Support COD?
Zendrop does not support Cash on Delivery (COD).
Why COD Isn’t Supported
As the seller, you are responsible for paying the fulfillment cost (wholesale price + shipping) to Zendrop. This payment must be made before we ship the order. Since COD involves collecting payment from the customer after delivery, it isn’t compatible with Zendrop’s fulfillment process. Orders will not be processed or shipped until the fulfillment cost is fully paid.
How payments work with Zendrop
Your customer places an order on your store.
They pay you directly through the payment methods you've enabled on your store (e.g., any payment gateway you've set up).You pay Zendrop separately
To fulfill the order, you pay Zendrop using the payment method linked to your Zendrop billing page.
Because COD isn't supported, disable it for any products you plan to fulfill through Zendrop. Make sure you have at least one supported payment gateway active on your store. Without it, customers won't be able to complete their purchases.
Payment methods available in Zendrop
1. Debit or Credit Card
Add your debit or credit card directly on your Zendrop billing page, or link your bank account. See How to Update Your Payment Method on Zendrop for a step-by-step walkthrough.
2. Topped-Up Order Credits
Add credits using your debit or credit card, or PayPal. These credits apply toward your orders. See What Are Zendrop Credits? to learn more.
3. Promotional Order Credits
These are bonus credits awarded during special Zendrop promotions. They can be applied toward up to 10% of each unfulfilled order. See our full guide on using credits to pay for orders: Can I Pay for Zendrop Orders Using Only Zendrop Credits?
