How to Deactivate Your Zendrop Account

Everything you need to know about deactivating your Zendrop account, steps, what changes, billing implications, confirmation, and reactivation.

Thinking about leaving? Deactivating your Zendrop account works differently than canceling a subscription. Here's what to do, what changes, and how to make sure you don't get charged after you're gone.

Deactivation vs. cancellation

Deactivating your account is not the same as canceling your subscription. If you just want to stop being billed, cancel your subscription from the Billing page. Deactivation goes further, it closes your account entirely.

Before you deactivate

Take care of these first:

  • Download any invoices or order data you need. You lose access to all of it after deactivation.

  • Unlink Shopify products via the My Products tab.

  • Settle any pending Shopify invoices. They don't cancel automatically when you deactivate.

  • Uninstall the Zendrop app from Shopify (Settings β†’ Apps and Sales Channels β†’ Zendrop β†’ Uninstall).

  • If you want to reuse your email for a new account, change it in your account settings before deactivating. Emails tied to deactivated accounts can't be reused.

How to deactivate

  1. Log in to your Zendrop account.

  2. Click your profile name in the top-right corner to open the dropdown.

  3. Select Account.

  4. Scroll to the Account actions section at the bottom.

  5. Click Deactivate.

What happens next

Once your account is deactivated:

  • All active subscriptions are canceled.

  • Saved payment methods are removed.

  • No new charges are applied, though any pending invoices already issued remain due.

  • Access to Zendrop features, data, and connected integrations (including Shopify) is suspended.

Once deactivation is complete, you'll receive a confirmation email at your registered address. To double-check it worked, try logging in, if you can't access the account, you're good.

Billing after deactivation

  • Pending charges aren't automatically canceled. Settle any open Shopify invoices directly through Shopify before you leave.

  • Refunds must be requested within 5 days of payment. Each case is reviewed individually, see Zendrop's refund policy for full details.

  • Invoices can no longer be downloaded once your account is closed.

  • Trial users: your trial won't cancel itself. Downgrade or uninstall Zendrop before your trial ends to avoid being charged.

Still seeing an active subscription?

If subscriptions are still showing as active after deactivation, you may have multiple accounts. Run through these checks:

  • Check the email address on your Zendrop Profile page. Make sure you're managing the right account.

  • Look for other accounts registered under similar email addresses.

  • Log out, clear your browser cache, or try a different browser to rule out display issues.

Reactivation

Changed your mind? You can reactivate your account through the password reset flow. Head to the Zendrop password reset page to regain access.
