Can Products From Different Suppliers Ship Together on Zendrop?

Why Zendrop can't consolidate orders across suppliers, when combined shipping is possible, how to check if your products share a supplier, and how to sell bundles that ship separately.

Zendrop doesn't offer a warehousing or consolidation service that combines products from different suppliers into a single package. Each supplier processes and ships from its own facility, so different suppliers always means separate shipments, separate tracking numbers, and separate shipping fees.

This article covers when combined shipping is actually possible, how to check supplier details before you build a bundle, and how to sell multi-product offers even when items arrive separately.

When products can ship together

Three conditions must all be true for Zendrop to consolidate your products into one package:

  • Both products come from the same supplier on Zendrop.

  • They're ordered at the same time, going to the same shipping address.

  • The combined size and weight fit within standard package limits.

Even when items do ship together, shipping is still calculated per product. Consolidation reduces the number of parcels. It doesn't reduce the per-item shipping fee.

How to check if your products share a supplier

  1. Open each product listing in your Zendrop dashboard.

  2. Check the supplier name shown on the product page.

  3. Compare supplier names across all the products you want to bundle.

Selling bundles when products ship separately

You can sell bundles in your Shopify store even when the products come from different suppliers. Use a third-party app like Unlimited Bundles and Discounts to set them up. Two options:

  • Create a standalone bundle as a separate product listing in Shopify.

  • Add bundle choices as variant options on a single product page.

Whichever you choose, be upfront with your customers. A short note at checkout like "Items in this order may arrive in separate packages" prevents confusion about missing items and cuts down on support requests.

Multi-unit shipping discounts

Ordering multiple units of the same product? Zendrop automatically applies multi-unit shipping discounts at fulfillment. These apply to multiple units of the same product ID only. They don't apply across different products, even from the same supplier. See the Multi-Unit Shipping Discount article for the full discount structure.

Check the supplier name on each product listing in your Zendrop dashboard before finalizing your bundle strategy. Matching supplier names give you the best shot at consolidated shipping.
