How Does Zendrop Handle Taxes, Fees, and VAT?

Some information regarding taxes and fees when dropshipping.

General taxes and fees

The price you see on the Orders page when fulfilling orders (product cost + shipping cost) is the price you'll pay Zendrop. For orders shipping to EU member states, a flat $3.80 EU Customs Duty per order is also added as a separate line item at fulfillment. You, as a business owner, are liable for paying any taxes or fees associated with your sales as you're collecting revenue from your customers. You can download all of your invoices inside your account via the Billing page.

Tax laws differ by location. For country- or state-specific guidance, consult a tax professional.

Note
VAT may apply only to Print-on-Demand (POD) orders, as POD products are fulfilled through a third-party integration. For all other products sourced directly from Zendrop Fulfillment, VAT is not charged on Zendrop.

Zendrop can't offer tax advice. Consult a financial advisor or tax professional for guidance specific to your location.

Regarding VAT

Zendrop isn't involved in VAT collection or remittance. As the seller, that's your responsibility. Your customers won't be charged VAT on delivery.

Download your invoices any time from the Billing page. Clean records make tax season a lot easier.
