How Do I Use Automated-Fulfillment?

Everything you need to know about auto-fulfillment.

Updated this week

Automated-Fulfillment is super easy to set up! Just follow the steps in the video above to toggle it on, and you'll never have to worry about manually fulfilling orders ever again.

Auto-fulfillment automatically populates tracking numbers in your dashboard once orders are fulfilled and accepts alternative products if the original is unavailable, ensuring a seamless fulfillment process.

Here is the written step-by-step process:

  1. Log in to your Zendrop account.

  2. Click the Orders button in the left-hand navigation panel.

  3. Locate the Auto Fulfillment section (expand the drop-down menu if necessary).

  4. Toggle the On/Off switch to On, and select your preferred mode:

    • Auto-Fulfillment: Immediate individual order processing.

    • Daily-Fulfillment: Batch processing of orders once per day at 7 PM EST.

IMPORTANT NOTE: there is a financial status within Shopify that does not automatically fulfill orders within Zendrop when using this feature. That status is: store_financial_status = 'pending'. Pending is referring to any order that does not have any 'transaction' property associated to it (e.g. the order was not paid for at all, no money was captured). Make sure you identify these types of transactions so you are manually fulfilling them within your Zendrop account to avoid any processing / shipping delays.

Additionally, auto-fulfillment only applies to orders placed after enabling the feature, so older unfulfilled orders need to be processed manually. If a Shopify location other than Zendrop is selected, ensure correct configuration to avoid disruptions.
