What Happens When You Disconnect and Reconnect Your Store?

What to expect when you disconnect and reconnect your store.

If you’ve ever wondered what actually happens when you disconnect and reconnect your store to Zendrop, here’s a quick breakdown.

In some cases, disconnecting and reconnecting is a great troubleshooting step to refresh or re-establish the connection between your store and Zendrop, especially if syncing issues occur.

During disconnection

When you disconnect your store, Zendrop pauses all live connections between your store and our system. Don’t worry, your progress and data are safe!

Here’s what to expect:

  • Product links are temporarily removed — imported products stay in Shopify but lose their Zendrop sync.

  • Previously fulfilled orders are unaffected — everything you’ve already shipped stays intact.

  • Billing pauses automatically — no new charges occur during disconnection.

  • Orders page, Import List, and Store Listings all clear temporarily and restore when you reconnect.

  • Catalog access remains open — you can still explore products (including POD), but you won’t be able to publish new ones.

  • Dashboard data disappears temporarily.

  • Profile and Billing pages remain accessible.

  • You can still reach Zendrop Support anytime through your account.

When you reconnect

Once you reconnect, everything restores automatically:

  • Your current plan stays active.

  • Products in your Import List return automatically.

  • All previously linked products reconnect instantly.

  • Order data and history are fully restored.

If your store name or URL has changed, disconnecting and reconnecting refreshes the link and restores sync.
