If you’ve ever wondered what actually happens when you disconnect and reconnect your store to Zendrop, here’s a quick breakdown.
In some cases, disconnecting and reconnecting is a great troubleshooting step to refresh or re-establish the connection between your store and Zendrop, especially if syncing issues occur.
During Disconnection
When you disconnect your store, Zendrop pauses all live connections between your store and our system. Don’t worry, your progress and data are safe!
Here’s what to expect:
Product links are temporarily removed — any products imported from Zendrop will stop syncing automatically.
Your products remain in Shopify — they simply lose their Zendrop link.
Previously fulfilled orders are unaffected — everything you’ve already shipped stays intact.
Billing pauses automatically — no new charges occur during disconnection.
Orders page clears temporarily — it will look empty until you reconnect.
Import List, Store Listings, & Sourcing tabs will also clear.
Catalog access remains open — you can still explore products (including POD), but you won’t be able to publish new ones.
Extras section becomes unavailable until you reconnect.
Dashboard data disappears temporarily.
Profile and Billing pages remain accessible.
You can still reach Zendrop Support anytime through your account.
When You Reconnect
Once you reconnect your store, everything smoothly falls back into place:
Your current plan stays active.
Products in your Import List return automatically.
All previously linked products reconnect instantly.
Order data and history are fully restored.
If your store name or URL has recently changed, disconnecting and reconnecting is an easy way to refresh the link and ensure everything syncs perfectly again.
