When a product variant (such as a size or color) becomes unavailable on Zendrop, it won’t automatically be removed from your Shopify store. To keep your listings accurate and prevent customers from ordering unavailable options, you’ll need to update or remove those variants directly in Shopify.
This guide walks you through the process and explains how these changes affect your Zendrop product links.
Why You May Need to Update Your Shopify Variants
Sometimes a supplier discontinues a size, color, or other variation that was previously available. When this happens, the variant will no longer appear in Zendrop, but it will still remain active in your Shopify product listing unless you remove it.
To keep your product listings accurate and avoid fulfillment delays, you should update your Shopify variants whenever a change occurs on Zendrop.
Important Notes Before You Begin
Variant management must be done in Shopify, not within Zendrop.
Removing a variant in Shopify will not break your Zendrop product link.
Your remaining variants will stay properly linked. You do not need to make any changes inside Zendrop as long as the remaining variants match correctly.
NOTE: Use Override if you want to switch Zendrop products without altering your Shopify listing.

After Updating Shopify
You’re all set! There’s nothing else you need to do inside Zendrop.
Your product will remain linked to the correct variants.
Orders for the remaining variants will fulfill normally.
No re-linking or manual adjustment is required unless you changed variant names or added new ones.
Review variant changes regularly: If you receive stock or availability notifications from Zendrop, update your Shopify listings promptly to avoid customer issues.
