What happens after your Usage-Based billing trial?

Zendrop's Usage-Based Billing (UBB) plan charges you based on the peak number of products linked at any point during your billing cycle, not how many are linked at the moment billing runs. Your tier adjusts automatically as your usage changes.

UBB is Zendrop's current billing model for new users who sign up through Shopify or Wix. If you're on a Standard Plan (Free, Pro, or Plus billed directly through Zendrop), see Understanding Zendrop Pricing Plans: A Complete Guide.

How billing tiers work

Your plan tier is determined by the highest number of products linked to your account at any point during the billing cycle, not the count at the exact moment billing runs:

  1. Free Plan: 0 linked products ($0/month)

  2. Beginner Plan: 1–20 linked products ($29/month)

  3. Pro Plan: 21–100 linked products ($49/month)

  4. Plus Plan: 101+ linked products ($79/month, capped)

Note that UBB charges are processed through Shopify. You'll see them on your Shopify billing statement, not directly through Zendrop.

What happens when your free trial ends

When your free trial ends, your account moves to UBB automatically. Here's what that looks like:

  • No products linked? You drop to the Free Plan. You can still log in, browse your dashboard, and access the product catalog.

  • Products linked? You're charged based on the peak number of products linked at any point during the billing cycle.

Managing your plan

You've got two options depending on what you want to do next.

Option A: Stay on the Free Plan

  1. Go to My Products in Zendrop.

  2. Click Unlink next to each product.

  3. Once all products are unlinked, your account moves to the Free Plan at the next billing cycle. See How to Link and Unlink Products for details.

Option B: Cancel entirely

  • Uninstall the Zendrop app from your Shopify or Wix admin. Since UBB is billed through your platform, uninstalling the app cancels your subscription and stops future charges. Note: any invoice already generated before uninstallation may still be processed by Shopify. See Understanding Usage-Based Billing for full details.

Log into your Zendrop Dashboard to check how many products you have linked and which tier you're currently on.
