How Do I Deactivate My Zendrop Account?

Steps to take to cancel your subscription and deactivate your account.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The most important thing to understand about account deactivations (this is a common misconception that our users have) is that they do not cancel your subscription. If you need to cancel your subscription, you can do so right within your account via the Billing page. Click the pencil icon.

Zendrop provides a guide to assist users in deactivating their accounts properly and ensuring no future billing occurs. This includes addressing active subscriptions, linked Shopify accounts, and the free trial period.

To deactivate your account, submit a request to Zendrop Support through the in-app Messenger or email. Confirm your intention and provide your account email. The support team will then:

  • Confirm any active subscriptions or trials are properly ended to avoid charges.

  • Deactivate your account entirely after the necessary verifications.

  • Provide you with a confirmation of the process completion.

If you don’t see the pencil icon, it means you’re on the Usage-Based Billing Plan. Click here to learn more about the Usage-Based Billing Plan.

  • Ensure all subscriptions are canceled.

  • Remove saved payment methods from your account.

  • Finally, click the Downgrade button.

After deactivating your account:

  • This status ensures that you will not incur any future charges and confirms that subscriptions have been terminated.

  • Your account will no longer be accessible unless reactivated.

  • All active subscriptions will be terminated, and payment methods will no longer be stored.

Additional considerations:

  • If cancelling during a free trial, request deactivation to ensure no charges occur post-trial.

  • Linked accounts, especially Shopify, should be disconnected to prevent unintended activity.

  • If you have products linked through Shopify, unlink them via the My Products tab.

  • Resolve pending Shopify invoices before account deactivation to prevent complications.

  • Uninstall the Zendrop app to prevent additional charges during your free trial.

Zendrop ensures that no active subscriptions or saved credit card details remain associated with your account upon deactivation. This process guarantees that you will not encounter future charges.

To avoid unexpected Shopify charges, navigate to your Shopify SettingsApps and Sales Channels, locate Zendrop, and click Uninstall. Removing the app stops usage-based billing but does not deactivate your Zendrop account.

If your Zendrop account is linked to services like Shopify, ensure you disconnect them to avoid unexpected charges. Navigate to the "Settings" → "Apps and sales channels" section in your Shopify admin dashboard, locate the "Zendrop - Dropshipping & POD" app, and then click Uninstall. Note: Uninstalling this app will remove product connections you previously set up.

Important Note: To easily downgrade your Zendrop usage-based billing plan, just reduce the number of products linked.

To fully deactivate your Zendrop account, you must contact support through the in-app Messenger or via email, specifying your email address and confirming your request. This action is required to end all active subscriptions and remove saved payment details, ensuring no further charges occur.
