How to Download a Copy of Your Conversation Transcript on Zendrop

How to export or download your Zendrop chat history.

Updated this week

If you ever need a copy of your chat history with our Support Team whether you’re reviewing past guidance, sharing information with your team, or keeping records for your store you can easily download your conversation transcript directly from the Zendrop chat widget.
This guide walks you through the full process.

How to Download Your Conversation Transcript

Download from the Zendrop Chat Widget (Active or Closed Conversations)

  • Log in to your Zendrop account.

  • Open the Zendrop chat widget in the bottom-right corner of the screen.

  • If you want to start a new conversation:

    • Click Messages, then send your question as usual.

Once the conversation is finished or whenever you’re ready to download it:

  • Click the Menu icon (three dots •••) located in the top-right corner of the chat window.

  • Select Download transcript.

  • Your transcript will automatically download to your device.

On most browsers, it will appear in your Downloads folder. You may also see a download confirmation at the bottom of your browser window.

Accessing Transcripts from Past Conversations

You can download transcripts from previous chats at any time.

  • Open the Zendrop chat widget.

  • Go to Messages and select the specific past conversation you want.

  • Click the Menu icon (•••) in that conversation window.

  • Choose Download transcript.

The file will download to your device just like above.

What Your Transcript Includes

Each exported transcript contains:

  • The full message history between you and our Support Team

  • Timestamps for each message

  • Any links or resources shared in the chat

Note: File attachments are not included in the downloadable transcript.
If you need a previously shared file, you can still access it directly in the chat widget by opening that past conversation.

If You Contacted Us by Email

If your support request was handled via email, your full conversation already exists in your email thread. You can keep, forward, print, or save it just like any other email.
