Canceling your Zendrop subscription requires specific steps depending on how your account is set up and your usage of the platform. Follow the comprehensive guide below to ensure your subscription is canceled, charges cease, and, if necessary, refunds are processed.
Steps for Standard Cancelation via the Zendrop Interface
If you subscribed directly through Zendrop, you can cancel your subscription by following these steps:
Log in to your Zendrop account.
Navigate to the user profile menu and click on Billing.
Locate your current plan and click the pencil icon (Edit) next to it.
Choose the Downgrade to Free Plan option, which will cancel your paid subscription.
NOTE: If you don’t see the pencil icon, it means you’re on the usage-based billing plan through Shopify. In this case, please refer to the alternative methods outlined below.
Cancelation via Shopify App Store
If you subscribed through Usage Based Billing in Shopify, here’s how you can cancel:
Go to your Shopify admin dashboard.
Click Settings > Apps and sales channels.
Locate the Zendrop app and choose Uninstall.
Confirm the changes to disconnect Zendrop from Shopify entirely.
This will ensure no future charges from Shopify’s billing system for Zendrop. It also automatically unlinks all your linked products. Additionally, billing during a cycle is based on the highest number of products linked, even if some products are unlinked later in the same cycle.
Option to Cancel Through Product Unlinking
Usage-based billing for the Zendrop app through Shopify is based on the number of products connected to your store. To cancel the plan, simply unlink all products:
Log in to your Zendrop account.
Navigate to the "My Products" section in the Zendrop dashboard.
Hover over the linked product and click the three dots on the right.
Select "Unlink".
To unlink products listed under "Store Listings & Sourcing," follow the same process for each product.
Repeat until all products are unlinked; this will automatically downgrade your subscription to the free plan. For more details on how to unlink products, you can refer to the following link: How to Link & Unlink Products
Post-Cancellation: Billing and Refund Information
Billing Cycle Charges: Changes such as unlinking products are applied in the next billing cycle. Current cycle charges, which consider the highest product count linked during that period, cannot be canceled or voided.
Existing Charges on Shopify: Pending invoices through Shopify cannot be canceled and must be settled first. However, once the payment has been completed, we can process a refund as long as the request is made within five days of the payment date.
Refund Policy: Refunds can only be processed within five days of the charge, and usually take 5–10 business days to complete. To learn more about our refund process, please click here.
Denial of Late Refunds: Refund requests made after the 5-day eligibility window are not accepted, aligning with Zendrop's strict refund policy.
Automatic Subscription Cancellation: For Usage-based billing subscription, If your Shopify store is disconnected, your Zendrop subscription will also be automatically canceled, and no further billing will occur. This ensures no residual charges under such scenarios.
Linked Product Disconnection: Upon store disconnection, all linked products will be automatically unlinked from Zendrop.
Ensuring No Future Charges
Once your subscription is canceled and your account is deactivated, confirm that the following actions have been completed:
All linked products are unlinked or uninstalled.
Payment methods connected to your Zendrop account are removed.
Zendrop or Shopify subscriptions are successfully downgraded or uninstalled.
Ensure no store remains connected to your Zendrop account to avoid future charges unless a new store is integrated.
Additional Notes
Even after cancellation, Zendrop allows users to re-subscribe or reinstate their accounts if needed. Please note that future billing will stop, and any promotional order credits will be removed once the subscription is canceled.
If a Shopify store is reconnected to Zendrop after disconnection, the user has the option to re-integrate and relink products, resuming previous operations seamlessly.
