How Do I Cancel my Zendrop Usage-Based Billing (UBB) Subscription and Manage Charges?

Managing a usage-based billing subscription.

Updated over a week ago

Zendrop’s Usage-Based Billing (UBB) plan is designed to be simple and flexible, you only pay for the number of products linked to your Shopify store.

Plan Overview

  • Free: 0 linked products (a paid plan is required to fully access Zendrop)

  • $29/month: 1–20 linked products

  • $49/month: 21–100 linked products

  • $79/month: 101+ linked products (capped at this rate)

All subscriptions include full access to Zendrop features. Payments are processed through Shopify’s billing system.

If no products are linked, you’ll remain on the free tier with no charges.

How to Cancel Your Subscription

You have two options if you’d like to stop charges on your Zendrop UBB subscription:

Option 1: Uninstall the Zendrop App

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin dashboard.

  2. Go to Settings > Apps and sales channels.

  3. Locate Zendrop – Dropshipping & POD.

  4. Click the ellipsis (…) next to the app and select Uninstall.

  5. Confirm by clicking Uninstall.

Important: Uninstalling stops future charges, but Shopify may still process any pending invoice already generated. If this happens, you can request a refund from Zendrop within 5 days of the charge. Learn more about refunds here.

Option 2: Unlink All Products

  • Remove all linked products from your Shopify store.

  • With 0 linked products, no charges will apply.

Billing Policies & Refunds

Why can’t Zendrop cancel Shopify invoices?

Zendrop does not control Shopify’s billing system. Once Shopify generates an invoice for any third-party app (including Zendrop), it cannot be canceled or deleted even if you uninstall Zendrop.

This applies to:

  • Pending invoices – These stay in Shopify until billed.

  • Generated invoices – Once created, they cannot be voided.

If an invoice is generated, you’ll need to let it process and then request a refund if eligible.

How to Request a Refund

Follow these steps if you’ve been charged and are eligible for a refund:

  1. Check eligibility – The charge must be within 5 days and typically applies to unused services.

  2. Submit a refund request – Contact Zendrop Support with your account details. Make sure you’ve unlinked products or uninstalled the app if you no longer wish to be charged.

  3. Wait for processing – Approved refunds are usually processed within 5–10 business days (timing may vary depending on your bank or payment provider).

Refund Policy at a Glance

  • Refunds available for charges made within 5 days.

  • No refunds for charges older than 5 days.

  • Refunds apply only to past charges (not automatically for future cycles).

  • Trial users: uninstalling within the 3-day trial means no charge.

  • Accounts with no linked products remain on the free plan indefinitely.

FAQs

1. Can I keep my Zendrop account without paying?
Yes! As long as no products are linked, you won’t be charged.

2. What if I uninstall but still see a charge?
If an invoice was already generated by Shopify before you uninstalled, it may still process. Don’t worry, Zendrop will refund you in full if you request it within 5 days.

3. Where can I see my invoices?
All pending or generated invoices are visible directly in your Shopify billing page (not Zendrop).

Additional Tips

  • Contact Shopify Support for billing issues that Zendrop can’t address directly (e.g., invoice visibility or payment methods).

  • Unpaid invoices: Even if Zendrop is uninstalled, any pending invoices in Shopify must still be paid. Refunds can be requested afterward if eligible.
